How to harmoniously combine two types of rails in one room
Expired
Modern design solutions allow you to easily combine different types of finishing materials, while providing a stylish and holistic look of the interior. One such solution is the use of two types of rail in the same space. Technically, thanks to the universal traverse, this task is not difficult. But how to achieve that the interior looks modern and harmonious?
In our example, the designers chose an elegant approach: instead of mixing two types of rail on the ceiling, they placed the plate-shaped rail on the ceiling and used the cube-shaped rail to decorate the walls.
The plate-shaped rail on the ceiling is installed with 52 mm spacing. Despite this, the rail's height of 100 mm and its minimum thickness ensure maximum overlap of the space behind the ceiling. At the same time, the transparency of the ceiling reaches 90%, which contributes to excellent air circulation in the room.
The cube-shaped rail used for decorating the walls gives them shape and volume. Here it is important to note several features. Firstly, the rail is used in widths of 35 mm and 88 mm. This combination introduces variation in the design, not allowing the walls to look monolithic. Secondly, 35 mm and 65 mm high rails are used at the same time, which adds volume to the walls and creates a spectacular and stylish composition.
We hope that our example of a successful combination of two types of rail will inspire you and you will be able to use these ideas in your own projects. Inspiration to you!
