FAQ: T-profile suspended ceilings

T-profile KRAFT Fortis  T-24:
- Profile KRAFT Fortis T-24 3600*38*24 mm - 1.08 kg / piece. There are 25 pieces in a package.
- KRAFT Fortis T-24 1200*25*24 mm profile - 0.30 kg/piece. There are 50 pieces in the package.
- KRAFT Fortis T-24 profile 600*25*24 mm - 0,14 kg/piece. There are 75 pieces in the package.

T-profile KRAFT Fortis T-15:
- Profile KRAFT Fortis T-15 3600*38*15 mm - 0,95 kg/pc. There are 37 pieces in a package.
- KRAFT Fortis T-15 profile 1200*25*15 mm - 0.27 kg/pc. There are 74 pieces in the package.

Externally, all T-profiles for ceiling systems are very similar to each other. But each manufacturer has its own design of profiles and locks. Therefore, you should use profiles from the same manufacturer for a suspended ceiling. Simply, you will not be able to snap the T-profile KRAFT in the Armstrong ceiling.
The following point should also be noted. KRAFT manufactures ceiling luminaires for T-profiles - KRAFT T-Led. There is an ordinary Fortis profile which already contains the light fitting, so mounting such a fitting on the ceiling is no different than installing an ordinary T-profile. But our lighting system can also be used with Armstrong ceilings. The KRAFT G-Led luminaires are suitable for this. The main wall profile can be considered an L-profile - it is an ordinary corner. It is suitable for all types of plates.
The W-profile can only be used with plates that have the same edge configuration so that the bottom surface of the plate is flush with the T-profile. 

With Kraft T-profiles you can use any kind of board: mineral, plaster, metal, acoustic, wooden, glass, etc. In some cases you can even do without tiles.
The only parameter worth paying attention to is the maximum load per square meter of the ceiling. With the standard KRAFT Nova T-profile ceiling can withstand a load of 5 kg/sq.m at the weakest point. For the KRAFT Fortis ceiling it is 7 kg/sq.m. But in addition to the standard design there are also several other ways of installation, where the load can be much higher. It is also possible to place additional hangers on the 1200 mm profile, in this case the maximum load factor will also increase. 

Yes, the use of suspended ceilings on Kraft T-profiles in medical institutions is possible. The main thing in this case is to choose ceiling tiles carefully. For common rooms, corridors and waiting rooms all kinds of tiles are suitable. For rooms with high demands on hygiene it is best to use ceiling tiles that can be easily cleaned and disinfected. For example, KRAFT metal cassettes are not exposed to corrosion, prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi, it is easy to remove them and wash with disinfectant solution. 

The most suitable lighting system for suspended ceilings on T-profiles is the KRAFT T-Led luminaires, our own development. The luminaire consists of a normal KRAFT Fortis T-profile, which is 600 or 1200 mm long, equipped with LED crystals with diffuser. The luminaire, like the profiles, is available in widths of 15 or 24 mm. Mounting such a luminaire is no different from mounting an ordinary T-profile.
Also with suspended ceilings on the T-profile you can use the K-Led system. It is a full-fledged fixture on the basis of a cube rail. It can be suspended below the level of the tiles at the desired height.
The KRAFT Led lighting system is highly economical, durable and has a short payback time. 

Kraft T-profiles are produced at the company's factories in Turkey or Ukraine. When fulfilling orders for T-profiles, we choose the most suitable option for the customer, taking into account logistics.

KRAFT Nova profiles are exclusively available in white. The following standard colors are available for the KRAFT Fortis profiles: RAL 9003 (white), RAL 9005 (black), RAL 9006 (grey), RAL 7024 (graphite), RAL 8017 (chocolate). Also standard colors include several wood textures. Additionally you can have your KRAFT Fortis T-profiles painted in any RAL color.
Samples of standard colors are available from our distributors. 

For configuration calculations, the following information is required: ceiling area, length of the ceiling perimeter, preferred installation method, and it is also desirable to have a drawing in order to understand the complexity of the configuration.
You can also calculate the configuration of the ceiling yourself using the table of ratios. In this case the retail price of the T-profiles, hangers and other accessories for the suspended ceiling can be found in the online stores of some of our distributors and you can calculate the final cost yourself. 

The geometry of the T-profiles is the same, so if necessary part of the ceiling can be made of KRAFT Nova T-profiles and part of the ceiling can be made of KRAFT Fortis profiles - visually there is no difference.
