A suspended ceiling using a plate-shaped rail is also called a "screen" or "plate" suspended ceiling. Structurally, the ceiling consists of vertical plates fixed on a supporting traverse.

Plate-shaped rail is a relatively new type of suspended ceilings on the Ukrainian market. But this type of ceiling has great prospects. Cube-shaped rail ceilings are wildly popular, and the plate rail has many of the same advantages as the cube-shaped one, but differs in appearance. The undeniable advantage is that the same universal traverse is used for both types of rails. This makes it possible to combine both types of rail ceilings in the design of the room without additional effort.

Among the standard advantages, it is possible to note a simplified process of installation and disassembly of the rail, fire safety and good indicators of covering the floor space, which makes it possible to hide communications behind the rail ceiling.

Plate-shaped rail is available in L- and Z-shaped end bend configurations. The Z-shaped bend is used in the massif of the ceiling, the L-shaped bend is intended for fastening KRAFT G-Led lamps.
