Installation of ceilings with a T-profile

Basic structural elements

 Basic T-profile 3600 mm  Longitudinal T-profile 600 mm  Suspension
Transverse T-profile 1200 mm  Wall-mounted L-profile (19x24 mm)  Suspended ceiling plate (or GLK grigliato cassette)
Instructions for self-assembly
Required Tools:
1. A perforator or a screwdriver (depending on the material of the walls).
2. Phillips screwdriver.
3. The hammer.
4. Combination pliers.
5. Construction level (preferably laser).
6. Construction pencil.
7. Roulette.
8. Clean mittens.
9. Stepladders.
10. Scissors for metal.

Step 1. Ceiling.
The level (horizontal) on which the suspended ceiling will be located and the marking for the wall L-profile is determined.
The distance from the suspended ceiling to the main ceiling must be at least 120 mm.
Step 2. Install the wall profile.
The wall L-profile (corner) is installed using dowels. The distance between the dowels is 300-500 mm.
Step 3. Layout and installation of hangers for the main T-profiles with a length of 3600 mm.
Suspensions are attached to the main ceiling with anchor dowels in steps of 800-1200 mm.
The closest to the wall hangers should be fastened at a distance of not more than 600 mm from the wall. For fixtures, additional suspensions (from 1 to 4 depending on its dimensions and mass) must be used. The exception is KRAFT LED luminaires - they do not require additional suspensions.
The suspension consists of a spreading spring and two spokes (with a hook and eye).
Step 4. Installation of the main T-profiles with a length of 3600 mm and aligning them in one area.
At least three suspensions are used for each basic T-profile.
Step 5. Installation of transverse and longitudinal T-profiles.
We install transverse T-profiles (1200 mm) in the holes of the main and longitudinal T-profiles (600 mm) into the holes of the transverse.
Step 6. Installation of mineral fiber boards in the finished frame.
Mounting plates should be carried out in clean gloves, so as not to spoil the appearance of the plates. Installation of luminaires, ventilation grilles and other composite suspended ceilings are made during installation.
